Bergville Christian Academy was started in 1997 as a godly alternative to the crisis in education at the time. Pastors Graham and Paula Oosthuis pioneered the school and with the help of faithful parents literally put their blood, sweat and tears into building the school - from desks to buildings!
From the humble beginnings of 40 students, Bergville Christian Academy has grown to over 100 students from Grade R to Grade 12. No less then 10 have graduated and gone on to become lawyers, doctors, businessmen, teachers and instructors.
BCA uses the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum - a system intricately developed to not only develop fantastic goal-setting abilities and individualized study methods, but also reinforces the Word of God in every aspect of learning thus developing character in the learners themselves.
